Poultry Processing Workshop
Saturday, April 1, 9am

An interactive workshop with as much or as little hands on experience as you prefer that will leave you ready to raise your own poultry, from the pasture to the freezer. We will be processing a variety of poultry types from broilers to heritage breed. 

Participants will learn the basics of how to successfully raise poultry on pasture and process birds according to NC Dept of Agriculture regulations. Parting and packaging will be demonstrated. This is a hands on workshop suitable for mature teenagers and adults.
